Winch is specifically designed to cater to individuals who have no formal training in winch usage but have found themselves using a 4x4 winch for recovery purposes. The safety processes integrated into Winch are inspired by the ones employed in the aviation and healthcare industries, which prioritise safety with minimal effort.

The Brief
Yello Studio were asked to develop an app that provides off-road winching dynamics for 4x4 adventurers as an accompaniment to formal training.

The Outcome
The app can be used as part of a pre-activity risk assessment that features interactive device response incline functionality and informative weight calculation algorithms. An essential tool for both trained and untrained winch operators.
